Description
A leading automobile company is seeking a skilled Finance and Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations in the company. The ideal candidate will have reasonable experience in fiscal policy and taxation, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the capacity to lead a diverse team effectively. This position requires resilience and the ability to analyze situations to propose viable solutions to management.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with fiscal policies and taxation regulations relevant to the automobile industry.
- Ensuring proper revenue and expense recognition.
- Monitoring cash and investment balances and performing cash flow forecasting.
- Budget managing and monitoring departmental, project, and organizational budget; assisting with monthly financial reporting needs.
- Performing fiscal year-end close activities and assisting with activities and requirements of external auditors.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Analytical Skills:
- Conduct thorough data collection and analysis to inform financial decisions and strategy.
- Identify financial trends and provide actionable insights to management.
Problem-Solving:
- Assess financial situations and propose effective solutions to management.
- Collaborate with various departments to address financial challenges and optimize processes.
Multicultural Understanding:
- Promote an inclusive work environment that values multicultural diversity within the finance team.
- Adapt financial strategies to align with the diverse needs of the organization.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a Chief Finance Officer (CFO) role.”
- Experience in financial management and accounting, preferably in automobile and equipment industries.
- Reasonable experience in handling fiscal policy and taxation issues, preferably in the automobile industry.
- Excellent team leadership and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making.
- Resilient and adaptable, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Skills and Knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) with expertise in Excel required.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency and hands-on experience with financial management software (e.g., Sage Intacct, BILL) required.
- Experience overseeing the annual audit.
- Superior data management and data analysis skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to explain financial terms in simple language.
