Description

We are seeking a proactive, results-driven, Sales Representative FMCG to join one of our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships, driving sales growth, and overseeing stock and warehouse operations in Yaounde.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Client Acquisition & Management
  • Prospect, acquire, and convert new clients across the Yaoundé market.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to maximize recurring orders.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.
  1. Payment Follow-Up & Financial Compliance
  • Track and follow up on client payments to ensure timely collections.
  • Escalate overdue accounts promptly according to company policy.
  • Support management in maintaining accurate financial and sales records.
  1. Sales & Marketing Execution
  • Implement marketing and promotional activities to boost product visibility and sales.
  • Execute in-store and on-field activation plans across various retail outlets.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales performance, gather competitive intelligence, and assess client satisfaction.
  • Report sales metrics and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  1. Stock & Warehouse Oversight
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor stock movements and support inventory management to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Provide timely reports on stock availability and replenishment needs.

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Min. 3 years of proven experience in FMCG sales, ideally in beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic).
  • Demonstrated record of measurable sales performance, revenue growth, client acquisition, sales targets achieved.

Technical Skills

  • Strong B2B and B2C sales skills, prospecting, and negotiation expertise.
  • Knowledge of the FMCG market and distribution channels in Yaoundé.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Fully bilingual: French and English (spoken and written).

  • Results-oriented, proactive, and highly organized.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients, tasks, and priorities efficiently.
