DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for Business Development Specialist Trainee – Chinese speaker in Cameroon. In this role, you will, under supervision, support the administration of business development activities to generate new or additional business, maximize profit, and grow market share in line with the business strategy, financial objectives, and Group guidelines and policies.

In this Business Development Specialist Trainee – Chinese speaker position

  • You will, under supervision, support the administration of business development activities to generate new or additional business, maximize profit, and grow market share in line with the business strategy, financial objectives, and Group guidelines and policies.
  • You will support general administrative tasks related to the development of new business and help maximize exposure for DHL among targeted prospects.
  • You will verify and process data, information, and insights from market studies and feasibility studies to assess market potential.
  • You will classify basic information on prospective customer needs and match these with DHL’s services.
  • You will comply with established procedures to follow up on leads, conduct pre‑proposal visits, support proposal preparation, and discuss terms of sale to close opportunities.
  • You will undertake generally repetitive tasks to meet customer requests and promote the services being offered.
  • You will, under supervision, provide administrative support for sales efforts with inside sales and provide product management with relevant data on account competitors and suppliers

  • Skills: Routing, Shipping, Carrier Management, Third Party Logistics, Ports, Ground Transportation, FCL, LCL, Cold Chain, Bill Of Lading, English, Tracking, Regulations, Import Export, Customs Brokerage, Customs Regulations, Feedback.
  • Education Level: Vocational/Specialized/Technical/Certification.
  • Experience Level: less than 2 years.
  • Chinese knowledge: Read, Speak and Write fluently
  • English knowledge is an advantage
